Dave and Colin present basics on Meshtastic and Meshcore – How to use them, what they’re best used for, and how two competing systems can complement each other to serve users in nearly any situation.
Meshtastic and Meshcore are two similar-yet-different LoRa mesh networking platforms that share a hardware ecosystem and use the 33cm ISM band to transport data across vast distances using very low-wattage transmission. In this session, Dave and Colin will present technical basics, hardware examples, and explain use cases for both of the popular license-free mesh network technologies from a user’s perspective — and from the perspective of more advanced infrastructure building, planning, and deploying. Q&A will follow the presentations.
